The creation of a new company means you will have to register as a legal entity in the Commercial Register of Bulgaria. The good news is that even if you’re a foreigner, you can form a company in Bulgaria – and you don’t need to have a Bulgarian visa or Bulgarian residency permit.
The most common type of a commercial company is Ltd., where one or more person can be the Director or Manager of the company, with a legal address in Bulgaria. Typically, the process for registration normally takes 3 working days after the completion and receipt of all the necessary documents.
A major advantage is that the income tax rate in Bulgaria is 10% flat, for any company, regardless of their profit – which is the lowest in the EU.
